Before we leave the tennis arena for a while I've had one ante-post bet for the US Open. That's Petra Kvitova who did so well at Wimbledon this year. She's 66/1 with a few bookmakers but I've had 2pts each way 66/1 with Skybet, Kvitova for the US Open. I've specifically chosen Skybet because if she doesn't play we get our money back, which is not the case with every bookmaker.

Kvitova played very well in the 2009 US Open beating seeds Kleybanova and Safina before losing (7-5 third set) in the fourth round to Wickmayer. She is still only 20 and could improve on that performance this year.
